Come enjoy lunch with your friends and listen to Clarissa Christman share her story of redemption. Clarissa is an experienced teacher and speaker on issues that impact mothers, wives, and women in crisis. It is Clarissa’s passion and ministry to see young ladies and women walk freely in Christ’s powerful redemption from sin and suffering. Clarissa’s own testimony of God’s healing and restoration after years of personal crisis, drug addiction, and family betrayal provides her with unique perspective and empathy for women in desperate need of a miracle.
Over the past 25 years, her passion for the care and rescue of women has led her to serve in ministries for sexually exploited women, women in prison, crisis pregnancy centers, and recovery ministries. Clarissa has served on the Board of Directors for Restored Hope Ministries which is dedicated to rescuing women out of the sex trades. Presently, she serves on the Board of Directors for Grace Like Rain. Clarissa is a member of The Village Church where she serves in the Recovery ministry and is a home group leader with her husband.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and teaching for 8 years, Clarissa has dedicated her time and attention to being a full-time mother and wife. Clarissa has been married for over 20 years to her husband, Drew, and has two sons, Justus and Austin.
In Clarissa’s hometown, you will find her leading a bible study for the 6th grade girls of Argyle, Texas, leading the Argyle Type 1 Diabetic Parent Support Group, and gathering with moms to pray and grow in the scriptures.
